Together, we can end the Suffering of Homeless Animals in Lebanon! Lebanon’s streets are overflowing with abandoned and suffering animals. Shelters are full, and every day, more cats and dogs are left to struggle—abused, starving, shot, poisoned, hit by cars, or worse. The government provides no real support for animal welfare, and the cycle of suffering continues. It’s time for real change. We are launching a long-overdue spay and neuter campaign to tackle this crisis at its root. By working with ethical municipalities, VET hospitals and dedicated individuals, we will reduce the stray population humanely, prevent future suffering, and give these animals a fighting chance. Each dog we help costs $150, covering spaying/neutering, microchipping, and a rabies vaccine—not just to protect the animal, but also the people around them from this deadly virus. I am raising funds to support a shelter in Zahle, Lebanon, that cares for over 200 dogs, many of whom have been abandoned during the turmoil of war. In these challenging times, the shelter faces immense difficulties in providing food, medical care, and shelter for these vulnerable animals. I will personally handle the purchasing of food and medications, as well as building small homes to keep the dogs warm during the winter months. I am Amera, 26 years old, from Gaza, I got married during the war and genocide, and when I wanted to live my life like any married woman, the occupation demolished our house،Above our heads, I survived, along with my husband, my mother, and my 8-year-old sister. My brother was martyred, the other was injured, and my little brother was arrested. My brother survived, but he suffered a broken pelvis and shrapnel all over his body.There is a shrapnel (a piece of the missile) in his head next to the brain, which poses a great danger to his life. At one point, that shrapnel caused temporary paralysis in his lower limbs. He went into a coma several times and the shrapnel in his chest caused air to enter his left lung. I narrowly escaped death several times.My husband and I live in a tent. I created this campaign first to bring basic resources and necessities of life such as food, drink and medicine. Secondly, so that I, my family and my husband can survive the genocide to the safe humanitarian zone and build a better future. With your kindness, compassion, love and help, we will be able to reach the humanitarian zone in better health. We would like to reach out fundraising goal of $50,000.

In 2009, the community of the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception founded the PAD (Prevention-Support-Development) center, whose objective is to support personal, group and environmental development in a systemic approach. The center operates in the following axes: therapeutic, preventive and socio-educational. The center was born following an observation in our school that highlighted the presence of aggression among children, violence, behavioral disorders, regressions and academic failures. Your donation will help us in our aim to prevent personal, intra and interpersonal conflicts, violence, delinquency, school dropout, family crises; to support and treat any person in a situation of socio-relational, behavioral, psychological or cognitive imbalance; to develop the "potential" of any person. The mission of the PAD center is to engage with individuals and their families, to support them, raise their awareness and assist them in achieving their success, fulfillment and development within society. I am a daughter of two migrant workers who spent almost 40 years of their lives i n Lebanon trying to make ends meet. I grew up developing this compassion towards animals as my mother spend most of her days rescuing cats and feeding stray ones. Unfortunately, my mother passed away two years ago due a tragic car accident while crossing the street. Ever since, I have been struggling to follow her path because of many other responsibilities. The loss of my mother crippled our family in so many ways. I found myself becoming the main breadwinner of the family with my brother and father being unemployed because of the country's structural economic problems. Every month, I struggle to feed 52 strays and take care of the 23 cats at home. Let alone think of ways to get them spayed and neutered is a big burden. I Know that out there, there are people who would understand this struggle and be able to support with anything to help me carry out my mission. My greatest vision is to build a cat house someday away from the city and to host strays.

generosity.Together to restore hope to a Palestinian family that has lost everything My name is Alia, a Palestinian mother of four beautiful children: Abdullah (13), Zain (12), Sanad (7), Gad (2). Before the war, we lived a simple but beautiful life in Gaza. My husband Mohammed was an artist who painted hope and taught children the joy of art. But the war took everything from us-our homeland, our livelihood, our dreams. On October 13, 2023, the incessant shelling forced us to flee our home in northern Gaza with nothing but some necessities. We found ourselves in a crowded tent with 40 others, struggling with cold nights, hunger, and constant fear. When the shelling intensified, we moved to mouasi, sharing a tent with 16 others during the harsh winter. We had no food, no medicine, no baby formula, no diapers. Even when we found these necessities, they were expensive. After three months of unimaginable hardship, the tent next to ours was bombed. We miraculously survived, but our tent was destroyed, forcing us to move again. The situation worsened with the entry of tanks into the area, which made survival very dangerous. We were evacuated to Rafah, where a friend lent us a tent for 10 days. But when they needed it, we had nowhere to go. We rented a small space, but the rent was beyond what we could afford. With the help of relatives, we managed to leave Gaza and move to Egypt, but we arrived with nothing-no income, no house, no property. The war has stripped us of everything we have built, and we cannot return to Gaza as the conflict continues. Before the war, our life was full of love, hope and security. Today, we are starting from nothing, urgently in need of help to provide our children with food, clothes and a safe place to call home. I humbly ask for your support. Statistics confirm that approximately 24 million Yemenis (80% of the urban and rural population) experience food insecurity, with nearly 10 million unsure where their next meal will come from. In rural areas, many have been forced to eat tree leaves due to extreme poverty—most of them being children and women. These families lack the most basic necessities of life. This crisis has worsened in various parts of Yemen, leading to a continuous rise in poverty levels due to multiple crises, including wars, conflicts, and natural disasters such as sudden floods and slow-onset droughts, which result in property loss and severely impact livelihoods Because of the humanitarian disaster Yemen has been in crisis for decades. Years of poverty, war and natural disasters have wiped out crops and livestock, leaving the region barren and the people desperate for help. Parents are watching helplessly as their children cry from the pain of hunger and then go silent when it becomes too much to bear. My name is Hana. I am creating this fundraiser to help the stray and abandoned cats on the streets of Beirut that I encounter everyday. Throughout the years, especially during the last few unfortunate months of turmoil & war, many animals suffered whether on the streets, in unsafe zones or even in their homes & boarding places. The fear caused many to startle, run aimlessly, get injured & sadly even die. I am sure that every rescuer in Lebanon is doing what they possibly can. I am reaching out to animal lovers & advocates for support. The stray cats that I look after, feed, follow up on their health matters, vaccinations, neutering, or medical care & hospitalization in case of accidents, & boarding for those who can no longer go back to the streets have left piles of unsettled bills. My rescued cats from the streets of beirut, were unlucky to have met heartless humans who have abandoned them, ran them over, abused, or turned a blind eye to the sick, and the hungry! I try hard to restore their trust in humans & to find loving forever homes in Lebanon or abroad when these loving souls heal.
