Today, the under-equipped Lebanese Civil Defense firefighters risk their lives each time they respond to emergencies. Without essential protective gear, they face the flames in their bare clothes—a dangerous and life-threatening task that underscores their extraordinary strength and resilience as volunteers who work for free. The Senior Class of College Louise Wegmann (2025) is determined to change that. In October 2024, during a critical wildfire in our community, these brave firefighters protected our school, our homes, and Lebanon's precious green spaces. Their heroic efforts inspired us to take action. As part of the #EN-ROUGE-ET-BLANC school campaign in support of the Lebanese Civil Defence, our initial goal is to raise $10,000 to fully equip 10 firefighters with the essential gear they urgently need. But we can't do this alone. We need your support. Every donation, big or small, goes beyond providing equipment. It shows these firefighters that their sacrifices are recognized and appreciated, boosting their confidence and determination as they continue their mission to protect our country. Every dollar counts. Join us in giving back to those who risk everything for us.

Hello! I'm an animal rescuer who has been dedicated to helping animals in the South for 7 years, as well as other dedicated rescuers (will place their info at the bottom). It was always a struggle in the past due to everyone's lack of compassion and empathy towards animals, however it has gotten worse due to the war. In the past, I've reached out to NGOs, shelters, and organizations for support... Recently, some have generously offered assistance, especially now that we're in a challenging situation, and we're truly grateful for their help. However, many animals have NO food and water. I'm raising funds to provide essential supplies like food and medical care for these animals and fellow rescuers in the area. Your support would mean the world to us. A Family's Fight for Shelter and Safety
My family and I have been deeply affected by the ongoing conflict in Lebanon. After our home was bombarded, we were forced to leave and found ourselves on the streets, unable to pay rent for a safe place to stay. We are a family of 6: four young girls with my father and mother. My mother has long standing diabetes and needs medications and monthly check-ups. My 94 year old grandfather lives with us as well. He's unable to see or hear and has Alzheimer's disease. He has no idea about what we're going through but we are trying our best to take care of him in a time where we ourselves need help. The loss of our home not only shattered our lives but also left us without the essentials needed to survive. I can only remember last weekend, I was a happy bride eagerly preparing with my family for my wedding and looking forward to moving into a new home. My life turned upside down. I lost everything I had worked so hard for, including the dreams of starting a new life with my fiance. My family and I are raising money to secure temporary housing and cover essential needs like food, clothing, and basic supplies. These funds will provide us with a safe place to survive the upcoming days until war ends, hopefully. Our hope is that your support can help us rebuild our lives. Currently, we're trying to secure short-term needs: -Rent for a place to stay in -Medications for my grandfather and mother -Diapers for my grandfather -Food and basic needs
