Launching HOPE Action Network to Mobilize Support for Global Health and Humanitarian Aid
At a time of mounting global crises, Project HOPE is launching the HOPE Action Network — a new hub that empowers people to take action on urgent health and humanitarian issues.
Through the HOPE Action Network, members will receive action alerts on legislation and budget decisions affecting global health and humanitarian programs; updates from Capitol Hill including relevant hearings, votes, and policy shifts; and insights and stories from Project HOPE’s Policy & Advocacy team who are working on the ground in Washington, D.C., to protect U.S. investments in global well-being.
As international challenges continue to escalate, the need for bold, coordinated advocacy is more important than ever. “Project HOPE is working on the front lines of some of the world’s most urgent challenges, from delivering health care in conflict zones to supporting mothers and newborns in developing countries,” said Jed Meline, Project HOPE’s Director of Policy & Advocacy. “The HOPE Action Network is a way for people everywhere to stand with us and call for actions that have tangible, real-world impacts on that work and those communities.”
Rabih Torbay, President and CEO of Project HOPE, added: “Advocacy is essential to sustaining and expanding lifesaving work around the globe. By joining the HOPE Action Network, people can ensure their voices reverberate in the halls of power, influencing decisions that directly affect the health and future of millions. This is another way we turn compassion into action.”
Whether you are a seasoned advocate or just beginning to raise your voice, the HOPE Action Network makes it easy to stay informed and make a difference.
