Social enterprise is at the heart of our organization as Give Back Hope was founded by serialpreneur, Stan Barrett on the principles of corporate philanthropy. Why is this important? Simple. This is our internal culture and the lifeblood of our operations. As a collective, we believe businesses should not only focus on normal business metrics such as revenue and profit, but also on the “return to society” as a measure of success.
If you are looking to start a social entrepreneurship program within your organization, we welcome you to join us. If you are unsure where to begin, don’t worry. At Give Back Hope, we understand – completely.
As a non-profit, we are unique in that we are staffed by a team of highly successful entrepreneurs. Our executive team has well over 100 years of combined experience in building successful companies, mentoring start-ups, marketing and strategic planning consulting, multi-media design, and results-oriented business development. We have extensive experience in creating meaningful events, developing engaging programs, and garnering significant support. We are here to help. Feel free to Contact Us for more information.
Give Back hope is a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to helping others and sharing hope on a global scale. We treasure and value the diversity of all people, nations, creeds and colors. Many of us are people of deep faith; but we don’t require anyone to share our views in order to be helped. We do require everyone who is a part of our team to value the same commitment to diversity. Ego and dogma have no place in our organization; instead we focus on seeing with eyes of compassion and doing our very best to alleviate pain & suffering while also sharing love and hope -no strings attached.
Here in the Give Back Hope office, we are crazy-devoted to sharing hope, smiles, love, kindness, and anything else that will bring a smile to someone who is suffering and in need of a helping hand, a hug, a meal, a little rest, or just to know that they are not alone. The world we live in is all too cruel, hard, and real. People today seem to have such a hard time seeing the light in an otherwise dark world. We want to help change that – anywhere and everywhere that we can. Sound lovely? Come volunteer with us! We always have room to grow..
At Give Back Hope, we are committed to creating positive, sustainable change in this generation and for the next. Part of that commitment extends to helping students reach their dreams. If you are interested in volunteering your time for an unpaid internship, we have successful professional entrepreneuers with significant experience in graphic design, marketing, video production, strategic planning and more. We invite students to contact us and let us know what kind of internship you are looking for. We may have a spot for you on our team!
We also are consistently looking for seasoned professionals to share in our passion for creating change within our local and global society. Please check our Volunteer page for opportunities or feel free to reach out to us if you would like to host a fundraising event or have something creative you would like to share.
“I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service.
I served and I saw that service is joy.” ~ Kahlil Gibran
CURRENT
PROJECTS
It is the vision of Give Back Hope to provide opportunities for ordinary individuals (such as you and me) the ability to reach out and help other ordinary individuals in extraordinary moments of need.
PLANT HOPE
Give Back Hope is a 501(c)3 international humanitarian aid organization, dedicated to bringing necessary aid and sharing hope wherever we go. We know what it’s like to look over our cubicles and into the eyes of the needy, and so we choose to get involved. We may not be able to change the whole world; but we can make a world of difference in the lives of those we help. That is what Give Back Hope is all about.
Imagine you’re walking down a city sidewalk, and you pass by a large, barren plot of land taking up the whole block. Nothing grows there – it is a wasteland amidst the buildings all around. Now imagine that you notice someone has posted a sign in front of the lot that says, “Free garden patches – Plant what you like.” Intrigued, you make a point to keep an eye on this block – just to see what might happen.
As word spreads, you watch the empty lot transform into a lush garden; a place where children play, people sit and have lunch, birds chirp, squirrels hide their treasures, and the air is sweet with the fragrance of flowers. It’s no longer barren; it’s a vibrant gathering place that sprang up because one person took action and posted a sign inviting others to see their vision. Then it catches your eye – a small little square of as-yet unclaimed dirt; you grab it, immediately thinking of the contribution you’re going to add to the beautiful garden….
And so it is with Give Back Hope. We seek to affect a shift in the social commentary of this generation…away from mass preoccupation with negativity and toward hope-inspiring generosity. What about you? What fuels your passion in life? If sharing hope and making a difference in the lives of others is one of your core motivators, we invite you to join us by “grabbing a plot, and planting some hope.”
“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”
~ Edward Everett Hale
